Job summary

W.W. Grainger, Inc. is seeking a Branch Sales Associate to engage walk-in customers and drive sales through guidance and a proactive approach.

In this role you will manage the customer experience, handle product selection and order entry, safely load customer vehicles, and perform warehouse tasks with safety and equipment training. Bilingual in Spanish is required, with day-one benefits and a competitive hourly pay range.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual in Spanish.
• Flexibility to work any time within branch hours.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and handle heavier loads with assistance.
• Learn and operate powered industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire customer experience, including product selection, accurate order entry, safely picking products, and loading customer vehicles.
• Look for ways to maximize sales opportunities and encourage customer loyalty.
• Adapt communication style for email, phone, or in person to different audiences.
• Pick, prepare, and stage will call orders and shipping products.
• Prepare backorders and stock/ store received items.
• Assist with merchandising and showroom replenishment; perform inventory counts.
• Learn and navigate computer systems for customer-facing and warehouse activities.
• Maintain Grainger standards for branch appearance and safety compliance.
