Job summary

ReGenesis Health Care is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Counselor/Mental Health Therapist to join our Integrated Behavioral Health team in Spartanburg, SC. This full-time, exempt role requires a master's-level clinician with SC licensure (LISW-CP, LMSW, LPC, LMFT) or eligible associates, and offers a competitive base pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold South Carolina licensure: LISW-CP, LMSW, LPC, LMFT.
• Associate-level licensed clinicians encouraged to apply.
• Strong assessment and counseling skills required.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and psychosocial evaluations.
• Diagnose behavioral health conditions within scope of practice.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices.
• Provide individual, family, and crisis counseling.
• Deliver trauma-informed, culturally responsive care.
• Collaborate with primary care providers in an Integrated Behavioral Health model.
• Coordinate with schools, social services, hospitals, and community organizations.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR).
• Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and treatment planning.

What You'll Do

As a Behavioral Health Counselor, Mental Health Therapist, or Clinical Social Worker, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and psychosocial evaluations.
• Diagnose behavioral health conditions within your scope of practice.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices.
• Provide individual, family, and crisis counseling.
• Deliver trauma-informed, culturally responsive behavioral healthcare.
• Provide behavioral health interventions for children, adolescents, adults, and families.
• Collaborate with primary care providers in an Integrated Behavioral Health model.
• Coordinate services with schools, social service agencies, hospitals, and community organizations.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant electronic medical records (EMR).
• Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and treatment planning.
• Connect patients with community resources and support services.
• Promote whole-person health through integrated medical and behavioral healthcare.

Requirements

Current South Carolina licensure as one of the following:

• LISW-CP
• LMSW
• LPC
• LMFT
• Associate-level licensed clinicians are encouraged to apply.
• Strong assessment and counseling skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Reliable transportation for travel between ReGenesis Health Care locations

Preferred
