Job summary

ReGenesis Health Care in Upstate South Carolina is seeking a bilingual Behavioral Health Counselor/Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LISW-CP, LMSW, LMFT) to join our Integrated Behavioral Health team. The role collaborates with physicians, nurses, and community partners to provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive care for all ages.

You will diagnose, assess, and treat individuals and families, coordinate with schools and social services, and document in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Current South Carolina licensure in LISW-CP, LMSW, LPC, or LMFT
• Associate-level licensed clinicians encouraged to apply
• Strong assessment and counseling skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Reliable transportation for travel between ReGenesis Health Care locations

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and psychosocial evaluations.
• Diagnose behavioral health conditions within your scope of practice.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices.
• Provide individual, family, and crisis counseling.
• Deliver trauma-informed, culturally responsive behavioral healthcare.
• Provide behavioral health interventions for children, adolescents, adults, and families.
• Collaborate with primary care providers in an Integrated Behavioral Health model.
• Coordinate services with schools, social service agencies, hospitals, and community organizations.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant electronic medical records (EMR).
• Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and treatment planning.
• Connect patients with community resources and support services.
• Promote whole-person health through integrated medical and behavioral healthcare.
