Job summary

ReGenesis Health Care is seeking a Float Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to deliver primary and preventive care across Spartanburg and Upstate South Carolina locations. You will work with diverse clinical teams and patient populations, with autonomy and meaningful community impact.

The role offers competitive compensation ($92,000–$105,000 base + $2,000 average bonus), a 40-hour workweek, generous PTO, comprehensive benefits, and potential NHSC loan

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current and unrestricted South Carolina APRN or Physician Assistant license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 3+ years of relevant clinical experience preferred.
• Primary care experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality primary, preventive, and episodic care.
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and manage chronic health conditions.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, diagnostic studies, and other clinical evaluations.
• Prescribe medications and evidence-based treatments within your scope of practice.
• Provide care to adult and pediatric patients as appropriate to your training, experience, and credentialing.
• Provide Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) services when assigned and credentialed.
• Educate patients about preventive care, medications, healthy behaviors, and chronic disease management.
• Coordinate referrals and collaborate with the care team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR.
• Perform in-office procedures and travel between locations.

What You'll Do

As our Float Advanced Practice Provider, you'll help provide clinical coverage where it is needed most. Your assigned location may vary based on patient volume, provider coverage, scheduled leave, vacancies, and other clinical needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Provide high-quality primary, preventive, and episodic care.
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and manage chronic health conditions.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, diagnostic studies, and other clinical evaluations.
• Prescribe medications and evidence-based treatments within your scope of practice.
• Provide care to adult and pediatric patients as appropriate to your training, experience, and credentialing.
• Provide Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) services when assigned and appropriately credentialed.
• Educate patients about preventive care, medications, healthy behaviors, and chronic disease management.
• Coordinate referrals and collaborate with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, behavioral health professionals, pharmacy staff, and other members of the care team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Perform approved in-office procedures within your demonstrated competency and credentialing, which may include Pap smears, IUD/Nexplanon placement, biopsies, joint injections, nail removals, suturing, wart cryotherapy, and incision and drainage.
• Help maintain consistent, high-quality patient care as you transition between ReGenesis Health Care locations.

This is a true float position, and regular travel is an essential part of the job.

You may be assigned to ReGenesis Health Care locations throughout Spartanburg, Cherokee, Union, and Greenville counties based on patient access, staffing, provider coverage, and operational needs.

Because assignments may change, we're looking for someone who is flexible, dependable, organized, and comfortable working with multiple clinical teams.

Reliable transportation and the ability to regularly travel between assigned locations are required.
