Job summary
La Clínica de La Raza is hiring a bilingual Mental Health Therapist to join Casa del Sol, our mental health division serving Alameda County's Latino population. You will provide culturally sensitive therapy, assessments, and case management for diverse clients under supervision, with emphasis on productivity and outcomes.
Eligible for NHSC loan repayment; robust perks include educational leave with stipend and FTCA malpractice coverage.
Qualifications
- Requires a Master's degree in social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or related field.
- Must be registered with the relevant board (BBS or Psychology) and eligible for licensure in California.
- Two+ years of mental health/medical/social service experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive behavioral health assessment, treatment and case management for children and/or adults.
- Deliver crisis intervention/stabilization, individual, family and group therapy; provide psycho-education and treatment planning.
- Co-manage client care under supervision; use CBT, solution-focused therapy and Motivational Interviewing.
- Meet productivity and documentation requirements; participate in team meetings and reviews.
