Job summary

La Clínica de La Raza in Oakland, CA seeks a Mental Health Supervisor to oversee behavioral health staff and students while maintaining a small client caseload. You will supervise clinical care, ensure chart reviews, and contribute to program development within a community-based health setting.

The ideal candidate holds a California license (LCSW, MFT, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist), has 2+ years of post-licensure supervision, and is fluent in Spanish and English to serve Latino communities

Qualifications

Requires a California license as LCSW, MFT or Licensed Clinical Psychologist with two years post-license experience.
Experience and expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of persistent mental illness.
Expertise in supervising, training, and evaluating staff. Minimum of 2 years of supervision or clinical consultation experience.
Ability to work as part of a comprehensive community mental health team, to foster a positive team of professionals and to foster a positive work environment.
Spanish/English fluency required

Responsibilities

Provide clinical supervision to Behavioral Health staff and students.
Review cases, monitor treatment plans and documentation to ensure quality care.
Participate in program development to improve BH services and expand offerings.
Complete staff evaluations and coordinate with department managers; assist in onboarding and training.
