Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking Behavior Technicians to support children with autism in one-on-one sessions. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

The role emphasizes patience, teamwork, and the ability to engage with children in active, hands-on activities in a supportive environment. Opportunities to grow within the behavioral analysis field are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with autism preferred.
• Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications.
• TB test required if you haven't had one in the last year.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Comfort with physical tasks and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing behavior intervention plans.
• Follow BCBA guidance to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and track progress.
• Collaborate with team and families as needed.
