Job summary

Centria Autism is hiring Behavior Technicians in Portland, Oregon. You will work one-on-one with children under the supervision of a BCBA, applying evidence-based strategies to build communication, social, and daily living skills.

The role emphasizes patience, teamwork, and compassion, with training provided. You may need to stand, move, and lift up to 50 pounds; CPR/First Aid and TB test are required, along with a background check. Spanish bilingual preferred.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with team and participate in training to support children’s progress.
