Job summary

Centria Autism in Portland, OR is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to join our team. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

We value patient, compassionate teammates and provide comprehensive training. The role involves standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds, with pay ranging from $19 to $20 per hour and opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR/First Aid certification and TB test required.
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Able to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavior intervention under BCBA supervision.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Support insertions of individualized plans and safety during activities.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.
