Job summary

Children’s Specialized ABA is hiring a bilingual BCBA to bridge clinical teams and Spanish-speaking families, delivering family guidance and caregiver coaching in the families’ native language. You’ll maintain a small caseload while focusing substantial time on family guidance sessions and ensuring engagement with ABA strategies.

The role requires 70% remote work and availability until 7:00 PM Monday through Friday for supervision needs, with a strong emphasis on accessibility and collaboration

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish for clinical conversations, caregiver training, and documentation.
• Experience providing caregiver training and family guidance within ABA services.
• Master’s degree in ABA or related field.
• Current BCBA certification.
• BCBA supervision training completed.
• NJ LBA licensure in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary clinical resource for Spanish-speaking families and provide ongoing family guidance.
• Build relationships to increase caregiver engagement and consistency of ABA strategies.
• Conduct family guidance sessions on skill acquisition and caregiver training; track progress.
• Collaborate with each client’s BCBA to communicate plans and updates to families.
• Bridge communication gaps between families and clinical teams; explain plans and progress.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and BIPs based on assessments and client needs.
• Conduct behavioral assessments, updates, and clinical reviews as needed.
• Monitor progress and analyze data to guide clinical decisions and treatment modifications.
• Provide supervision and guidance to BTs and RBTs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support positive client outcomes.
• Ensure documentation and treatment plans meet regulatory and payer requirements.
• Maintain availability for evening supervision and family support until 7:00 PM Mon-Fri.
