Job summary

Astra ABA in North Carolina seeks a highly skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead our ABA therapy teams in the Cape Fear area and develop individualized treatment plans for children with ASD and other developmental disabilities.

You will conduct assessments, supervise Behavior Technicians, collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams, and monitor progress to adjust plans as needed. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in ABA or related field.
• BCBA certification by BACB.
• Experience with children with autism and other developmental disabilities.
• Experience with ABA therapy and treatment planning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify strengths, deficits, and needs of each client.
• Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans to address client goals and objectives.
• Supervise and mentor Behavior Technicians to ensure effective implementation of treatment plans.
• Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Monitor and evaluate client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and thorough records of client progress and treatment plans.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with best practices in ABA and autism treatment.
