Job summary

The Law Office of Patrick L. Cordero, a long-established bankruptcy law firm in Florida, seeks a diligent Paralegal/Legal Assistant with bankruptcy experience. We offer generous PTO, healthcare, dental insurance, and room for growth within the firm.

You will prepare bankruptcy petitions, meet with clients and trustees, and support the attorney in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual Spanish/English is required; strong attention to detail and excellent client communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bilingual candidates proficient in Spanish and English written and spoken.
• Must be able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess a sense of urgency and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain positive internal working relationships with office staff and clients.
• Outstanding and polished client communication skills and display of confidence with exceptional organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare Bankruptcy petitions
• Prepare motions, letters and affidavits.
• Meet and follow up with clients, trustees and court.
• Other duties as assigned by attorney.
