Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver excellent service to retail and installer customers in a fast-paced store environment.

You will greet customers, help select merchandise, and assist professionals as needed. Training will be provided; bilingual abilities are encouraged. The role includes cash handling, returns, and safeguarding the cash drawer, with opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Requires strong customer service skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to greet customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Must accurately handle cash transactions and operate POS system.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level of service to retail customers and installers.
• Promote company customer service programs (Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, etc.).
• Assist with inventory, price checks, and stock display updates as needed.
• Answer store phones, lookup parts, quote prices, and suggest related items.
• Process exchanges/returns per company policies.
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Support delivery and other in-store services as required.
