Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks a Parts Specialist to deliver high levels of service to retail and installer customers. You will greet customers, assist in selecting merchandise, and support store management with daily tasks. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and training is provided.

You will handle cash, process exchanges, quotes, and telecustomer inquiries while promoting company programs. This role emphasizes teamwork and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service (Described as desirable).
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Greet retail/walk-in customers in a friendly, courteous manner and assist them in selecting merchandise.
• Assist managers and installer service specialists in serving professional customers as needed.
• Provide excellent service to customers calling the store by answering calls and quoting prices.
• Process exchanges and returns for credit according to company policies.
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Operate store equipment after required training and company requirements.
• Perform in-store services such as installing wipers and testing batteries when allowed by law.
