Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Murray, UT is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high-level customer service for both retail and installer customers. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and you will assist store management and professional customers as needed.

You will handle cash and card transactions, process returns, resolve complaints, stock shelves, and assist with planograms and image updates. ASE certification and Spanish language skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Desirable familiarity with automotive parts, Weatherly Index System, and automotive sales or service.
• ASE certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Greet retail/walk-in customers and assist in merchandise selection.
• Support store management and professional customers as needed.
• Process cash, checks, and credit transactions per policy.
• Handle exchanges/returns for credit per policies.
• Resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Assist with daily image maker, planogram updates, stocking, and cleanliness.
• Operate test equipment after training.
• Perform in-store services such as installing wipers and testing components.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle if required.
