O’Reilly Auto Parts in Clinton, TN is hiring a Parts Specialist to deliver high‑level service to retail and installer customers, while supporting store management and professional customers as needed.

The role encourages bilingual candidates and involves greeting customers, assisting with merchandise selection, processing transactions, and resolving issues per policy. Training and in-store service duties are required.

Qualifications

• Provide outstanding, friendly, professional customer service.
• Capably multitask between store customers and phone inquiries.
• Match alphanumeric part numbers quickly and accurately.
• Bilingual Spanish skills are highly desired.
• Familiarity with automotive parts and Weatherly Index System is preferred.
• ASE certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet retail and installer customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Assist managers in serving professional customers as directed.
• Answer store calls, lookup parts, quote prices, and promote related items.
• Process exchanges and returns per policy and issue credit.
• Maintain cash drawer, handle cash, checks, and card payments.
• Complete training and perform in-store services and light maintenance.
• Assist with stock, planogram updates, shipments to distribution center.
• Operate store equipment after training and company requirements.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle if required by policy.
