Job summary

BYOT Auto Parts is seeking a hands-on, customer-focused sales team member to join our in-person store in Texas. You will greet customers, answer questions, and help customers select automotive parts and services.

This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and accurate cash handling while maintaining a clean, organized storefront. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year in retail and be fluent in English, with Spanish language skills a plus.

Qualifications

• Be proficient in automotive part/product identification and relate parts to customer needs.
• Must work safely at all times.
• Good people skills with an outgoing, friendly attitude.
• Able to read, write, and speak in English.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
• Retail experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety culture and work as part of the team to meet goals.
• Provide information to customers in-store or during calls with friendly, enthusiastic answers.
• Follow loss prevention, risk control and cash handling procedures.
• Assist with housekeeping, store upkeep, and vehicle preparation for sale.
• Follow company policies and escalate customer needs to management as required.
• Complete sales training and follow the B.Y.O.T. Auto Parts Sales Model.
