Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a General Manager to lead store operations, inspire the team, and drive profitability. You will oversee sales, inventory, customer service, and professional customer relationships while ensuring safety and operational standards.

The role requires 50-55 hour weeks, shift rotations including nights and weekends, and strong leadership. ASE certification or readiness is a plus; proficiency with POS systems and P&L analysis is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s in business preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience managing a team of 10-20 in retail.
• Valid driver's license; ASE certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Achieve store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage Professional Customer relationships and drive account growth.
• Hire, develop, and coach store Team Members; manage scheduling and engagement.
• Lead Manager on Duty duties including coaching, floor management, and safety.
• Execute inventory standards and store operating procedures.
• Review and analyze P&L statements to drive profitability.
