New Paradigm For Education (NPFE) seeks an Attendance and Engagement Specialist in Michigan to promote attendance, monitor at-risk students, and enforce relevant attendance codes. You will develop prevention strategies and engage families to support student success.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, data reporting, and collaboration with school staff to remove barriers to attendance and improve outcomes for all scholars.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written) with ability to communicate, interpret, and translate for Spanish-speaking students and families.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret attendance data and develop actionable recommendations.
• Experience creating data reports, graphs, dashboards, and presentations.
• Knowledge of chronic absenteeism interventions, MTSS, student support systems, and family engagement practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and student cases.
• Experience conducting family outreach and home visits preferred.
• Commitment to equity, student success, and removing barriers to attendance.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite; proficient in Excel.

• Collect, analyze, and interpret attendance data to identify trends and at-risk groups.
• Create clear data visualizations, dashboards, graphs, and reports for school leaders and stakeholders.
• Develop and monitor attendance action plans based on data findings and progress measures.
• Present attendance data and recommendations to leadership to support data-driven decisions.
• Identify and monitor students with chronic absenteeism and conduct daily outreach to families.
• Translate school communications and provide interpretation to ensure access in Spanish.
• Serve as a liaison to remove language barriers and strengthen family engagement.
