The successful candidate will demonstrate bilingual Spanish/English fluency, strong communication, and advanced spreadsheet skills in a K-12 setting.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish/English required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Advanced computer proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets.
• Experience in a K-12 school setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the campus expert and primary contact for scholar attendance matters.
• Maintain 100% accurate daily attendance reporting with zero tolerance for errors.
• Verify, track, and audit daily attendance records and resolve discrepancies for data integrity.
• Ensure timely submission of attendance by teachers for all required periods.
• Engage families with same-day contact regarding absences and accountability.
• Identify attendance barriers and collaborate with parents to improve attendance.
• Flag scholars with 5+ consecutive unexcused absences and alert campus leadership.
• Collaborate with the Attendance Committee to provide data on scholars of concern.
• Handle truancy steps including notices, conferences, and filings as needed.
• Provide attendance documentation and assist with system access and trainings.
