Job summary

The Mexican American Opportunity Foundation is seeking an Associate Teacher/Teacher in Salinas, California, to provide direct care and guidance to children at our Child Care and Development Centers. The role requires not only instructing students but maintaining a supportive and educational environment while ensuring safety at all times.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of classroom paid or volunteer experience in a preschool/childcare setting preferred.
• Must successfully pass the DOJ criminal background check.
• Sincere commitment to providing services to children and the community.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and supervise groups of children.
• Integrate educational elements into daily activities.
• Maintain daily attendance records and prepare necessary documentation.
