Job summary

CASA Inc. in Bridgeport, CT is seeking an Assistant Program Director to supervise counseling staff and guide all program activities within our behavioral health services.

You will oversee screening, intake, orientation, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and group/individual sessions, stepping in as leader when the Program Director is unavailable.

With CT licensure, bilingual skills, and supervisory experience, you will help shape culturally responsive care for diverse clients and families.

Qualifications

• Licensed by the State of Connecticut (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW).
• Minimum three years of professional counseling experience, or an equivalent combination of degree and experience.
• Must be bilingual: English and Spanish.
• Two years minimum supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of dynamics of chemical dependency rehabilitation and related resources.
• Commitment to culturally relevant treatment and multicultural competency.
• Must have a driver's license and access to a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Supervise counseling staff and facilitate program activities.
• Screening and intake, client and family orientation, development of treatment plan; crisis intervention; and group/individual sessions.
• In the absence of the Program Director, assume leadership duties.
