Qualifications

• Licensed by the State of Connecticut (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW).
• Three years of professional counseling experience; or a combination of a degree in a related field and professional experience.
• Must be bilingual (English- Spanish).
• Two years minimum supervisory experience.
• Evidence of knowledge of the dynamics of chemical dependency rehabilitation and available resources.
• Appreciation of culturally relevant treatment and willingness to provide it.
• Growth-oriented and able to set and work toward professional goals.
• Must demonstrate multicultural competency within a behavioral health setting.
• Must have driver's license and motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Supervise counseling staff and facilitate all program activities.
• Supervise and participate in primary counselor duties with clients and families, including screening and intake, orientation, and treatment planning.
• Provide crisis intervention when needed.
• In the absence of the Program Director, assume leadership duties.
