Job summary

GreenState Credit Union in Clive, IA is seeking a Bilingual Senior Asset Recovery Specialist to lead analysis of delinquent loans, determine asset values, and coordinate repossession, foreclosure, and loss mitigation efforts.

You will conduct skip-tracing, communicate with members, and work with the legal team and vendors to maximize recoveries while maintaining compliance and providing accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Five years of collection experience or more.
• Ability to complete full loan analysis to determine repossession/foreclosure/recovery placement.
• Knowledge of lien positions and perfections.
• Punctual attendance plus overtime as required.
• Bondable and able to manage high-volume, detail-oriented work.

Responsibilities

• Review daily delinquency queues, repossession, recovery, deceased and loss mitigation follow-ups with members via phone, email, and mail.
• Perform skip-tracing to locate members and assets; contact co-makers, co-borrowers and guarantors.
• Assist loss mitigation reviews, gathering documents, ordering property valuation, and underwriting income to close loan modifications.
• Prepare updated monthly reporting on loss mitigation, repossession, recovery and remarketing.
• Represent the credit union in litigation as needed and coordinate with legal and vendors.
