Lippert Components is hiring for an Assembly Laborer in Indiana. The successful candidate will assemble components per product specifications, read blueprints, and use hand tools on a fast-paced line. This full-time role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Up to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to identify that product meets quality and productivity standards.
• Ability to use hand tools.
• Ability to focus on details to guarantee production of high quality products.
• Ability to read and follow documented procedures and standards.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements.
• Willing and available to work overtime to reach goals.
• Clear communication (oral and written) skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specs, and parts lists.
• Positions parts by reading measurements and templates.
• Assembles components and checks connections for proper fit.
• Resolves assembly problems by adjusting dimensions as needed and reports to supervisor.
• Maintains equipment by performing preventive maintenance tasks.
• Manages inventory by checking stock and placing orders when needed.
• communicates with supervisor about potential issues.
• Maintains a safe, clean working environment and adheres to procedures and rules.
• Follows safety measures to protect personnel and property.
• Contributes to team effort by delivering quality and timely results.
