Lippert Components, Inc. is seeking an Assembly Laborer in Elkhart, IN. This full-time role involves assembling components per product specs, reading blueprints, and gathering parts and tools.

You will ensure correct fit, resolve issues, and maintain a safe, clean workspace in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position requires high school diploma or GED and up to 2 years in manufacturing, with willingness to overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Study assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists to prepare work.
• Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
• Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening.
• Resolve assembly problems by adjusting dimensions and notifying supervisor.
• Maintain supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.

• Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
• Daily communication with supervisor regarding potential issues.
