Job summary

SBT Global, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Application Engineer to support IT and manufacturing application systems for EV battery production facilities across North America.

The role combines IT knowledge with manufacturing operations to support factory automation, troubleshoot production systems, and improve manufacturing efficiency. The ideal candidate has experience with manufacturing systems, enjoys solving technical problems, and is eager to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing, IT systems, or related management.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and troubleshoot IT and manufacturing application issues for EV battery plants.
• Monitor and maintain manufacturing systems for stable operations.
• Support system implementations, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance.
• Communicate with plant users, IT vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and user guides.
• Provide user training and technical support for manufacturing systems.
• Support factory automation software implementation and testing with PLC engineers.
• Investigate and resolve production-related system issues promptly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a multicultural environment.
