Job summary

Yu Ming Charter School is seeking an After School Program Staff for a part-time role. The position involves supporting K–4 students at lower campuses or Grades 5–8 at upper campus, in a Mandarin- and English-speaking environment.

Under supervision, you will lead activities, assist with homework, uphold safety protocols, and maintain positive relationships with students and families. The schedule is about 20 hours weekly, Mon-Thu 2:30–6pm, Fri 12:30–6pm.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Demonstrated English proficiency at an intermediate to professional level.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate engaging, age-appropriate activities for students.
• Assist students with homework and provide academic support as needed.
• Promote a positive work environment and collaborate with school staff.
