Job summary

A bilingual Montessori public school is seeking part-time BASE After School Instructors to support students in grades PK3 through 5th. Candidates should have experience with children, possess a high school diploma, and preferably be bilingual. This role offers work hours from 2:00 - 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students in grades PK3 through 5th.
• Ability to maintain classroom rules and record-keeping.
• Must meet TB screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead engaging activities for students.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development.
• Assist with arrival/dismissal and lunch/recess coverage.

Skills

Experience with students PK3 - 5th grade

Fluency in English or Spanish

Energetic and flexible

Ability to work with various abilities

Education

High School Diploma or GED

CDA or enrolled in CDA classes preferred
