Job summary

International School of Brooklyn (ISB) is seeking a dynamic, hardworking, Part-time After-School Instructor for the 2025-2026 school year and beyond. The role involves guiding after-school activities for children aged 3 to 12, supporting homework in Grades 1-5, and coordinating with staff to maintain a constructive learning environment.

The position runs Monday through Friday from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm, with a salary of $23.50/hour. Fluency in English and French is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience leading groups of 20+ students.
• Ability to work with ages 3–12 and support homework in Grades 1-5.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Be a reliable, collaborative presence for classroom operations.
• Observe and interact with students during work and play times; lead small group activities.
• Maintain the learning environment; supervise daily activities and groups.
• Assist students with homework as necessary (Grades 1-5).
• Communicate positively with faculty, staff, children and families.
• Prepare and serve snacks; escort students to enrichment classes.
