Latino Community Center is hiring for the SOY Pittsburgh Elementary School Coordinator in McKeesport, PA. You will lead bilingual after-school activities, summer camp planning, and family engagement to boost Latine students’ academic outcomes and cultural pride.

Join a team that supports Kern-8 Student Success Manager and Directors of Programs while ensuring safe operations and meaningful community partnerships.

Qualifications

• One or more years of education and development of children and/or families, out-of-school programming, or public education system experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English and culturally sensitive to Latine communities.
• Excellent computer, organizational, and data management skills.
• Reliable commute to McKeesport, PA or plans to relocate before starting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee afterschool program activities 2:00-6:00pm, Mon-Fri at Twin Rivers Elementary School, McKeesport, PA.
• Oversee Summer Camp activities at McKeesport, PA or LCC Pittsburgh HQ.
• Plan engaging activities for K-5 Latine students.
• Support students with homework and language development.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere honoring language and heritage.
• Ensure safety, supervise staff and volunteers, and communicate with parents/teachers.
• Track attendance and student academic growth; ensure CACFP/SFSP compliance.
