Job summary

OSU Cascades in Bend, Oregon, seeks an Academic Advisor - Bilingual (Spanish) for a full-time, 12-month professional faculty role. You will guide prospective students through the admissions process and support recruitment events under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Admissions.

The position requires travel, flexible hours (including evenings and weekends), and a strong commitment to inclusive excellence as OSU-Cascades expands access to education in Central Oregon.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree must be completed by start date.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
• Experience working with college or high school students in an advisory or recruitment capacity.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to travel and work irregular hours including evenings and weekends for extended periods.
• Commitment to inclusive excellence and working with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment counsel and advise prospective students.
• Plan and manage recruitment events and recruitment plan.
• Holistic admissions review and related duties.
