Job summary

Oregon State University-Cascades is seeking an Academic Advisor - Bilingual (Spanish) for full-time, 12-month term in Bend. The Admissions Advisor will recruit and counsel prospective students, guiding them through the admissions process and supporting diverse learners in Central Oregon.

This role reports to the Assistant Director of Admissions and requires travel and outreach. The successful candidate will collaborate with the recruitment team to implement undergraduate recruitment strategies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree must be completed by start date.
• Fluent in English and Spanish with excellent written and oral communication.
• Experience advising or recruiting college students or high school students.
• Ability to present and facilitate workshops and outreach programs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and CRM tools.
• Willingness to travel and work irregular hours including evenings and weekends.
• Commitment to inclusive excellence and working with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment of students and advising to prospective students.
• Counsel and advise prospective students throughout admissions process.
• Coordinate recruitment events and manage recruitment plan development.
• Perform holistic admissions reviews as part of recruitment focus.
• Provide service and other duties as needed.
