Job summary

Stfrancis in the United States is seeking a motivated student to support LATAM month-end and quarter-end close activities, assist with reconciliations and financial schedules, and track project costs. This role provides exposure to multinational accounting processes and cross‑functional collaboration.

You will communicate in English and Spanish, gain hands-on Excel experience, and contribute to ad hoc analyses while handling confidential information with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Sophomore or Junior standing preferred
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required)
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, multinational environment
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism

Responsibilities

• Support month-end and quarter-end close activities for LATAM entities
• Assist with preparation and review of account reconciliations and financial schedules
• Track project costs, accruals, prepaids, and intercompany transactions
• Support revenue and expense analysis in line with company policies
• Assist with audit support, internal controls documentation, and compliance requests
• Partner with regional finance teams to resolve accounting inquiries
• Translate and communicate accounting information in Spanish and English
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested
