Advantage Insurance Services (AIS) seeks an Experienced Accountant to support the Assistant Controller in maintaining accounting records and preparing financial statements for AIS and portfolio entities. The role emphasizes accurate reconciliations, expense analysis, and timely reporting.

The position provides exposure to AIS’s financial statements and AVI consolidated reports, plus intercompany processes and audits, with opportunities for growth through professional development.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting for AIS and portfolio entities and prepare financial statements.
• Process accounts payable invoices for payment.
• Prepare account analyses for various expenses (e.g., professional, underwriting, IT).
• Prepare bank reconciliations.
• Support AIS financial statements and AVI consolidated statements.
• Support the intercompany reconciliation process.
• Assist with corporate and stand-alone entity audit schedules and fieldwork.
