Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Business or Finance.
• 3+ years accounting experience in non-profit or financial services preferred.
• Experience with automated accounting systems.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Positive, confidential, team-oriented professional.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and processes posting of cash receipt activity including cash, checks, and credit card payments.
• Performs routine and complex accounting reconciliations requiring knowledge of systems and independent judgment.
• During yearly financial audit, prepares tie-out schedules and supports auditors with documentation.
• Monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts including cash, receivables, payables.
• Assist with planning, budgeting, and logistics for school field trips, safeguarding the school against overages.
• Build and update electronic payment links; assist users with transaction tracking and reconciliation.
• Manage fixed asset register and accounting for additions, disposals, depreciation, and CIM movement.
