Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned.
• ESL certification required within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of district’s curriculum program and show written evidence of preparation as required.
• Prepare lessons reflecting accommodations for differences in student learning styles.
• Present subject matter according to TEA guidelines and district policies.
• Plan and use instructional strategies and materials reflecting student learning needs.
• Assess student learning styles and use results to plan activities.
• Supervise teacher aides/volunteers.
• Use technology to strengthen teaching/learning.
• Maintain open communication with parents and staff.
• Demonstrate professionalism and align with Manor ISD values.
