WE-cycle is seeking a Bikeshare Tech to maintain bikes and stations, support bike redistribution, and uphold safety standards in Aspen and Carbondale. The role involves outdoor work with four 10-hour shifts per week, supporting daily field operations and rider assistance.

Progression is offered with defined levels and pay increases as skills grow. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and the ability to work independently in variable weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform bike repairs.
• Ability to learn new tools, systems, and repair techniques.
• Reliable and punctual with the ability to complete assigned work independently.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Hands-on, field-based work requiring mobility and physical activity.
• Ability to repeatedly lift and move bikes weighing up to 45 lbs.
• Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform bike maintenance and repairs to keep the fleet safe, functional, and rider-ready.
• Maintain system reliability by diagnosing and resolving bike and station issues.
• Relocate WE-cycle bikes using company vehicles or e-bikes to maintain station availability.
• Maintain station cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Provide rider assistance as needed.
• Support daily field operations through assigned tasks.
