Job summary

The National MS Society seeks a high-energy, goal-driven Development Manager, Bike MS to lead Bike MS fundraising events in the Austin market. You will cultivate relationships with participants, teams, volunteers and corporate supporters to drive fundraising growth and program success.

You will collaborate across departments to engage participants, exceed donor expectations and support event logistics with a strong focus on revenue growth and participant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in event management with relationship-building.
• 4+ years in events, fundraising, sales, or volunteer engagement.
• Ability to analyze metrics and adjust plans based on data.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement campaign strategies to retain, grow and recruit participants and achieve fundraising success.
• Manage relationships with teams, top fundraisers, sponsors and volunteers.
• Increase participant and corporate partner engagement, driving registrations and revenue.
• Coach and supervise a market staff to execute the operational plan.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure a positive event experience for participants.
