Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is seeking a Bike Cookie Courier for their Detroit, MI store. As a vital part of our delivery team, you will be the face of Insomnia, delivering cookie magic and providing exceptional customer service.

This part-time position offers unique perks including pay-on-demand, flexible schedules, and the joy of delivering free cookies during your shifts. If you have excellent time management skills and your own non-motorized bicycle, we want you to join our team!

Responsibilities

• Check orders for quality and accuracy before they leave the store.
• Deliver cookies, milk, and ice cream to customers in a timely manner.
• Provide quality customer service via in-person and phone interactions.
• Use Insomnia’s delivery app and provide accurate status updates.

Skills

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Knowledge of the 1-mile radius surrounding the store is a plus

Own non-motorized bicycle in working order

Smartphone with data plan

Legally eligible to work in the United States

Must be 18 years or older

As a Bike Courier, you are our “Boots on the ground!”, and the main face that our Insomniacs see outside of the bakery! You give the word “Delivery” a whole new meaning by delivering the Cookie Magic to our fans wherever they are.

WHAT WILL I DO AS A DELIVERY COURIER?

• Check orders for quality and accuracy before they leave the store.
• Deliver our cookies, milk and ice cream to our loyal fanbase, in a timely and safe fashion.
• Provide quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers whether in-person or by phone.
• Use Insomnia’s delivery app to approved company standards and provide accurate status updates to customers.

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Knowledge of the 1-mile radius surrounding the store is a plus!
• Must have your own non-motorized bicycle in working order (electronic bikes are not permitted)
• Must have a smartphone with data plan
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older to be employed
