Job summary

Trane Technologies in the United States is seeking a Bid Coordinator to support the development and submission of proposals. You will coordinate with sales, engineering, finance, legal, and operations to ensure accurate, timely bids are submitted through appropriate channels.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and attention to detail, with experience in bid coordination and proposal writing preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in bid coordination, proposal writing, sales support, or project coordination.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organization and time management.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with CRM, document management, or bid portal systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the end-to-end bid and proposal process.
• Track deadlines, requirements, and submission schedules.
• Gather information from internal teams such as sales, engineering, finance, legal, and operations.
• Draft, format, and edit proposal content.
• Ensure submissions meet customer requirements and compliance standards.
• Maintain bid libraries, templates, and supporting documentation.
• Organize review meetings and follow up on action items.
• Submit final bid packages through customer portals or required channels.
• Support post-submission activities, including clarifications and lessons learned.
• Review tender documents, RFPs, RFQs, and ITTs.
