Job summary

Veo is hiring a mechanically inclined Repair Technician/Driver in Sarasota to maintain and repair our fleet of electric bikes and scooters. The role combines hands-on mechanical work with driving company vehicles to field tasks.

Candidates must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a 5-year MVR background check. Pay is $17.00/hour as a W2 employee with a hybrid schedule (weekends required).

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of maintenance or repair experience.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass a 5-year MVR background check.
• Comfortable using smartphone apps and technology.
• Ability to lift and move up to 80 lbs.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on Veo’s electric bikes and scooters, from basic maintenance to major component replacements.
• Conduct routine inspections and quality checks to ensure safety standards are met.
• Track and document maintenance records using Veo’s mobile applications.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of replacement parts and repair supplies.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and operating efficiently.
• Assist with field operations, including battery swaps and fleet redistribution as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Bicycle and Scooter Repair Technician/Driver - Hybrid (W2 Employee)

Location: 7525 Pennsylvania Ave., Suite 102, Sarasota, FL 34243

Pay: $17.00/hour (W2 Employee)

Schedule: Sat - Sun 12:00 PM - 6 PM

Important: Candidates must have reliable transportation to commute to and from the warehouse. A valid driver's license is required, as this role includes driving a company vehicle to complete field-related tasks.

Job Summary

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team

• Experience repairing bicycles, scooters, motorcycles, automobiles, or similar equipment
• Basic knowledge of electronics or electrical systems
• Previous experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or fleet maintenance environments
