Job summary

Veo is seeking mechanically inclined Repair Technicians to maintain and repair our fleet of electric bikes and scooters in Sarasota, FL. This role suits hands-on problem solvers who enjoy keeping communities safe and sustainable.

Prior vehicle or bike repair experience is preferred, but EV experience not required. This is a hybrid role with driving responsibilities using a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of maintenance, mechanical, or automotive repair experience.
• Valid driver7s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass a 5-year MVR background check.
• Comfortable using smartphone apps and technology.
• Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 80 lbs.
• Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on Veo's electric bikes and scooters, from basic maintenance to major component replacements.
• Conduct routine inspections and quality checks to ensure vehicles meet safety standards.
• Track and document maintenance records using Veo's mobile applications.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of replacement parts and repair supplies.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and operating efficiently.
• Assist with field operations, including battery swaps and fleet redistribution as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay: $17.00/hour (W2 Employee)

Job Summary

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with their hands, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and helping keep our communities safe and sustainable. Previous experience repairing vehicles, bicycles, scooters, motorcycles, or similar equipment is preferred, but electric vehicle experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on Veo's electric bikes and scooters, from basic maintenance to major component replacements
• Conduct routine inspections and quality checks to ensure all vehicles meet safety standards
• Track and document maintenance records using Veo's mobile applications

Qualifications & Skills

• At least 1 year of maintenance, mechanical, or automotive repair experience

• Ability to pass a 5-year Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background check
• Comfortable using smartphone apps and technology
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull electric bikes and scooters weighing up to 80 lbs
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team

• Basic knowledge of electronics or electrical systems
