Job summary

Save the Children International is seeking a Specialist, BI Developer to design and deliver enterprise BI solutions across a global team. You will partner with stakeholders to translate requirements and build scalable data analytics using SQL Server, SSAS, SSIS and Power BI.

You will also contribute to governance, ensure performance, and support BI across programmes while working in a hybrid/remote model with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Experience with SQL Server databases: T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, triggers, ad-hoc queries.
• Ability to translate non-technical requirements into technical specs for BI solutions.
• Strong communication to explain complex ideas to non-experts.
• Experience delivering BI solutions in international contexts.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with global TDIT team, stakeholders and product owners to design and deliver BI solutions.
• Estimate and deliver tasks within agreed timelines.
• Foster innovation using proofs of concepts for BI approaches.
• Analyze and continuously improve BI systems for data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement and manage BI changes.
• Provide monthly KPI data to Program Operations and month-end data to Finance.
• Identify and elevate BI risks and issues.
• Maintain BI infrastructure and documentation.
