Job summary

Lilly IT is seeking an experienced Analytics Platform Administrator to manage our Power BI/Fabric environment. You will operate day-to-day administration, ensure reliability, and collaborate with Azure, AWS, and security teams to scale analytics globally.

You will lead deployments, governance, and automation efforts, driving enterprise-wide BI adoption while mentoring junior staff in best practices and SOPs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years administering Fabric/Power BI platforms.
• 3+ years with Fabric/Power BI Service and Power BI Report Server.
• Experience with SQL and data validation.
• Experience with PowerShell and Fabric/Power BI REST API.
• Experience supporting enterprise BI operations, migrations, and DR planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, upgrades, and large-scale deployments of Fabric/Power BI across environments.
• Design high-availability, clustered configurations for enterprise BI workloads.
• Plan patches, security updates, and version upgrades with minimal disruption.
• Perform CAPA and update quality documents and SharePoint articles.
• Optimize gateway performance, dataflow efficiency, and dataset refresh reliability.
• Define governance for workspaces, datasets, reports, and content lifecycle.
• Develop automation scripts and DevOps pipelines using REST APIs and PowerShell.
• Implement inventory management, monitoring, and usage tracking.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, cloud, and network teams to improve stability.
• Lead capacity planning, platform scaling, and resource optimization.
