Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics in Indianapolis, IN, seeks an experienced Fabric/Power BI Platform Administrator to oversee day-to-day operations, deployments, and governance across Dev, QA, and Production environments. You will ensure reliability, plan upgrades, and coordinate with security teams.

The role requires strong scripting, REST API, and SQL skills, plus expertise in gateway administration and cloud connectors (Azure/AWS). On-site with relocation as needed.

Qualifications

• Deep Fabric/Power BI architecture knowledge with capacity management and DR planning.
• Strong On-Premises Data Gateway expertise and maintenance experience.
• Ability to analyze diagnostic logs for health and incident investigation.
• Networking fundamentals for SaaS connectivity and security practices.
• Proficiency in PowerShell and REST API with SQL skills.
• Experience with enterprise identity/security/SSO (AD, Azure AD).
• Azure/AWS knowledge and Fabric capacity management in cloud environments.
• Ability to translate business needs into configuration changes.

Responsibilities

• Administer Fabric/Power BI platforms and ensure reliability.
• Lead installations, upgrades, and large deployments across environments.
• Maintain high availability, patches, and security updates.
• Run CAPA activities and update quality documentation.
• Optimize data gateways and dataset refresh reliability.
• Govern workspaces, datasets, reports, and permissions; perform audits.
• Build automation scripts and DevOps pipelines using APIs and PowerShell.
• Collaborate with infrastructure/security teams; support cloud integrations.
• Mentor junior admins and develop SOPs; act as platform SME.
