Job summary

APAC Central Inc. in Tulsa is hiring an HR Administrator to join the HR team and support hiring, onboarding, reporting, and compliance. This entry-level role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and day-to-day HR operations, with bilingual English/Spanish skills highly valued.

You will collaborate with the HR Manager and Safety partners, handling paperwork, data entry, and reporting while maintaining a fast-paced, client-focused environment. Occasional travel and in-office work are required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two or more years of human resources experience preferred.
  • HR administration experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience in construction, materials, manufacturing, or a similar operational environment preferred.
  • Valid state driver's license and satisfactory driving record required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate sound judgment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel required.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Support the hourly hiring process, candidate communication, offer letter preparation, and onboarding coordination.
  • Coordinate pre-employment requirements such as drug screenings and background checks.
  • Maintain accurate electronic HR records, forms, and policy databases.
  • Prepare, analyze, and distribute HR reports and project materials for management.
  • Assist with training activities, including preparation and distribution of materials.
  • Process employee termination paperwork and data entry.
  • Partner with Safety to meet DOT requirements.
  • Maintain HR forms, handbooks, and related resources.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Support special HR projects and daily operations.
  • Maintain regular in-office attendance.
  • Travel up to 10% for day trips between offices or job sites.

Position Overview

Are you highly organized, detail-driven, and ready to grow your career in Human Resources? We are looking for an HR Administrator to join our HR team helping support multiple businesses. In this entry-level role, you will be a key part of the employee experience-helping with hiring, onboarding, reporting, compliance documentation, and day-to-day HR operations. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are highly valued and can help strengthen communication with employees and candidates.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, keeping processes running smoothly, and building a strong foundation in HR. You will work closely with the Human Resources Manager, HR Generalist, Safety partners, and other team members while supporting a fast-paced operation where accuracy, confidentiality, and service matter every day.

What You'll Do
  • Support the hourly hiring process, candidate communication, offer letter preparation, and onboarding coordination.
  • Coordinate pre-employment requirements such as drug screenings, background checks, new hire paperwork, and orientation materials.
  • Maintain accurate electronic HR records, forms, employee documentation, and policy databases.
  • Prepare, analyze, and distribute HR reports, data summaries, and project materials for management and HR leadership.
  • Assist with required training activities, including preparation, tracking, review, and distribution of materials.
  • Process employee termination paperwork, including data entry, calculations, and routing of required documentation.
  • Partner with Safety to help meet, maintain, and distribute new hire DOT requirements.
  • Maintain HR forms and materials, including employee handbooks, applications, files, and related resources.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Support special projects and other HR-related duties as assigned.
  • Maintain regular and predictable in-office attendance.
  • Travel occasionally, up to 10%, primarily for day trips between offices or job sites.
What We're Looking For

Work Requirements

  • This role is designated as Safety Sensitive due to occasional travel to job sites and frequent day trips between offices.
  • Must be willing to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors as needed.
  • Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required, with most travel consisting of day trips.

  • Able to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or manipulate objects, talk, and hear.
