Job summary

DSA seeks a BI Lead to oversee operational reporting, dashboard development, analytics, and metric definitions. The role includes securing reporting assets and transitioning BI data sources, with a focus on DoD-related systems and secure environments.

The candidate will lead BI strategy, governance, and modernization efforts, coordinating data quality and stakeholder needs. A Secret clearance is required, and prior Army/DoD experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, CS, or related field.
• 7+ years in BI, reporting, analytics, visualization, or data warehousing.
• CompTIA Sec+ certified and SAP Business Objects, Qlik or related BI certification.
• Experience leading BI delivery with SAP BusinessObjects, Qlik, Power BI, Appian, or similar tools.
• Experience supporting acquisition, contracting, financial, and enterprise mission systems.
• Active Secret clearance.

Job description

All hired employees are expected to have experience with Microsoft Copilot and / or an approved equivalent AI solution.

BI Lead Summary:

Leads operational reporting, dashboard development, analytics, metric definitions, secure reporting, and transition of BI assets and data sources.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field
• 7+ Years in business intelligence, reporting, analytics, visualization, or data warehousing.
• Comp Tia Sec+ certified and SAP Business Objects, Qlik or related BI certification
• Experience leading BI delivery with SAP BusinessObjects, Qlik, Power BI, Appian, or similar tools
• Experience supporting acquisition, contracting, financial, and enterprise mission systems.
• Active Secret clearance

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with Army or DoD enterprise systems, Appian-first design approaches, data architecture, and long-range modernization planning
• Experience modernizing legacy capabilities in Appian, supporting federal acquisition or contract writing workflows, and using an Appian-first approach across shared IL5/IL6 codebases is highly desired

The posted salary range is a good-faith estimate. Actual compensation will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and other job-related factors.

DSA - Salary Pay Range

$140,000 - $150,000 USD
