Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. seeks a Business Intelligence Intern for its Research Lab Division. You will support the BI team in gathering, analyzing, and visualizing data to drive better business decisions, working closely with multiple departments to turn data into actionable insights.

The internship offers hands-on experience with BI tools, data pipelines, and collaboration across teams, with a flexible hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in one of the listed fields with at least two years of college completed.
Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Qlik, Tableau or similar.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Basic understanding of databases and data structures.
Ability to work independently and in teams; clear communication of insights.

Responsibilities

Assist in data product modeling in Databricks using internal and external data sources.
Develop reports and dashboards to track KPIs and metrics with BI tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements.
Analyze trends and performance metrics to support decisions.
Assist in automating reports and building data pipelines with LLMs.
Present findings and insights to team members and stakeholders.
