Job summary

CLA is seeking a highly analytical and customer-focused Business Intelligence & Insights Manager in Phoenix, AZ. This hands-on leadership role will manage a Data Analyst and drive reports, dashboards, category analyses, retailer insights, and BI solutions.

The successful candidate will partner with stakeholders to transform data into actionable recommendations that support growth and performance. A balance of technical skill, leadership, and client-facing communication is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in BI, Category Management, Retail Analytics, Shopper Insights, or related disciplines.
• Experience leading or mentoring analytics professionals.
• Strong customer-facing presentation and communication skills.
• Experience translating data into actionable business recommendations.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Demonstrated success partnering with commercial, sales, and leadership teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the company's BI and Insights function and manage the Data Analyst.
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, scorecards, and BI tools.
• Develop data structures for category, retailer, brand, product, and customer data.
• Partner with Sales, Category Management, Marketing, and Customer Development teams.
• Present insights in a compelling, actionable manner to drive decisions.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistent reporting across platforms.
